Ensemble playing is about rehearsing works for string ensemble (duo, trio, quartet and chamber orchestra). In addition to the joy of making music together, ensemble playing also shows other social values. The success of a work depends on the one hand on the good play of each individual and on the other hand on the interaction of all those involved. Taking responsibility for one’s own voice while at the same time placing it in a larger context promotes social compassion and a sense of community. The level of difficulty depends on the technical capabilities of the participants.

This course is aimed at children, adolescents and adults who have previous knowledge of a string instrument and would like to play music together in an ensemble (according to their age and ability). The ensembles are divided according to age groups and previous knowledge.
